The Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham
South Wales Mission, Newport

Welcome to St Basil and St Gwladys Roman Catholic Church. A Catholic community, under the care of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham.

At the heart of our parish is the celebration of the Holy Mass and the joy of living out our faith together. Whether you have been part of our parish for many years, are returning to the Church, or are simply curious to discover more about the Catholic faith, you are very welcome.

We hope this website will help you discover more about who we are, our life as a parish, and the beautiful traditions of the Catholic Church. Here you will find information about Mass times, parish life, our community, and the many ways you can become involved.

Perhaps you are looking for a church to call home, seeking answers about the faith, or simply wondering what to expect when you come to Mass. Wherever you are on your journey, we hope you will find a warm welcome among us.

We invite you to come and join us for Mass, spend some time in prayer, meet our parish community, and take the next step in your journey of faith.

You are very welcome at St Basil and St Gwladys, and we look forward to welcoming you.
